Candidates those who have applied for UGC NET Preparation 2020 need to start their preparation well before time. Though NET is one of the toughest exams of the country candidates can use some tricks which will help them perform better in the exam. Following below are certain tips which candidates can use for their preparation.
1-Know your Syllabus:
UGC NET exam will be conducted in two sessions (Paper 1 & 2). Paper 1 will contain general aptitude questions and paper 2 will be of concerned subject.Candidates are required to go through UGC NET Syllabus 2020 thoroughly. Understand the syllabus completely and prepare each topic accordingly. From 2019 new NET syllabus was introduced in which many new topics were added. So the syllabus was a bit rigorous. Solving previous year's UGC NET question papers gave you the idea of the pattern of questions asked in the last few years.
2-Topic wise syllabus cover:
Follow the syllabus and focused on each unit of the syllabus topic-wise. UGC NET syllabus for both papers (paper-I and II) was divided into 10 units and you have to focused on every unit. Read the topics and collect the facts. To clear the NET exam, need more fact-based knowledge than conceptual knowledge.
3- Be Update on current affairs
Too much deep study is not needed, focus more on facts. Don't ignore current affairs related to the syllabus.
4-Time Management
Time management is extremely important. Though there is enough time of 180 minutes for 150 questions, still your mismanagement of time may bring bad news for you. Give maximum 1 minute for 1 question and 30 minutes for revision.

Before starting the preparation appear in the full test, as the paper is based on the analytic skill you will able to solve some of the questions. This helps you to check your current level.
Find out the chapter in which you are good and in which you are lacking.
Read the theory in which you are lacking.
If you want to memories formulas and a short trick, note them down on paper and paste them on the wall in your study room.
