UGC NET 2021

UGC-NET 2021 notification was released on February 2. The last date to apply online for the UGC NET 2021 (December 2020 Cycle) is March 3. The UGC NET 2021 Exam will be conducted on May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 17. The May 2021 (December 2020 cycle) exam will be held in two shifts per day - 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00-6:00 PM. NTA UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. The UGC NET exam 2021 will be conducted in May instead of June. UGC NET admit cards 2021 will be released on different dates for different papers. The exact dates for the release of the admit card have not been announced yet.

Every year, about eight to ten lakh candidates appear for the UGC NET exam. In 2020, a total 8,60,976 candidates registered for the exam. Candidates who possess the below-mentioned qualification are exempted from taking the UGC NET exam:

·        PhD degree holders

·        Candidates who have cleared UGC/CSIR JRF exam before 1989

·        Candidates who have cleared SET 

Latest UGC NET Exam 2021 Pattern -

NTA has introduced a minor change in the UGC NET 2021 exam. Both the papers will be conducted in the single session of three hours. Earlier, there used to be a 30-minutes break between both the papers.

How To Prepare For UGC NET Political Science

Candidates those who have applied for UGC NET Preparation 2020 need to start their preparation well before time. Though NET is one of the toughest exams of the country candidates can use some tricks which will help them perform better in the exam. 1-Know your Syllabus:

UGC NET exam will be conducted in two sessions (Paper 1 & 2). Paper 1 will contain general aptitude questions and paper 2 will be of concerned subject.Candidates are required to go through UGC NET Syllabus 2020 thoroughly. Understand the syllabus completely and prepare each topic accordingly. From 2019 new NET syllabus was introduced in which many new topics were added. So the syllabus was a bit rigorous. Solving previous year's UGC NET question papers gave you the idea of the pattern of questions asked in the last few years. 


2-Topic wise syllabus cover:

Follow the syllabus and focused on each unit of the syllabus topic-wise. 3- Be Update on current affairs
